Welcome to the new website and new blog! When I started Joanne Lee Photography, Inc. 19 years ago in a tiny studio over a hardware store in Scarborough, blogging was all the rage. Nearly everyday I published a blog post, sharing about recent sessions and a bit about my world. I never could have guessed where the past 19 would have taken me in this exciting journey as a photographer and business owner.
In these 19 years, I’ve had 5 different studio spaces, 3 website overhauls, photographed weddings, headshots, senior photos, family portraits, and more. My work has brought me to the Bahamas, coastal Maine, southern Maine, New Hampshire and most of New England. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph politicians, olympians, musicians, and veterans. I’ve photographed high school seniors, preschools, corporate headshots, family portraits and created product images for commercial clients. There was even a dog wedding I photographed, remind me to tell you about that sometime!
Please come back frequently. I’m committed to writing and sharing blog posts regularly! There will be informative posts about how to prepare for your photo session, what to wear, there will also be some behind the scenes content and maybe even a bit about the person behind the camera!
