Joanne is also a photography speaker and educator, sharing about her work in photographing special needs children, pet portraits and the boutique photo experience. She is also an advocate for animal rescues and regularly photographs dogs in foster care to increase the odds of them finding forever homes.

Joanne is proud to offer creative, classic portraiture throughout Maine, and New England. A portrait and wedding photographer, she has been recognized as one of Maine’s top photographers by the Maine Professional Photographers Association, since 2013. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, and has also served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Professional Photographers Association (MPPA), and is currently serving as the MPPA President. Her award winning work has been featured in the International Photographic Competition Loan Book, 2013 and 2014 Editions. In 2014, Joanne was awarded the prestigious title, Platinum Photographer of the year by the Professional Photographers of America.
